Let me take this opportunity to introduce to you Mr. Charles Gaskins. The stepson of an ex Government worker, who was an engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, who frequently visited Area 51.Unfortunatly his father has now passed away. But he wished for his stories to be told after his death. For confidentiality purposes he will be known as David in the following testimonies.
 

I read the following in a Newsgroup I visit quite often and decided to get in touch....

My stepfather was working with Project bluebook, and Hanger 18 in the 50-70s. He told me stories of craft recoveries, over twenty in twenty years.  Also bodies including the Roswell bunch being kept in freezer units out at Hanger 18. He worked on the electrical system, and aerodynamics, and brought home schematics of strange stuff to say the least. He was deeply involved in the Project Moonbeam that many Michigan folks saw, but was told it was swamp gas. It was like a bunch of vacuum cleaners attached to the bottom then reversed to blow air out. They could not then get it to go into other directions, but with the alien technology they studied were able to  build the Harrier jets, and many more versions.

What was Project Moonbeam?

The Operation Moonbeam was an experimental project that was to try for faster speed, and the ability to rise up from a landed position for easy takeoff from aircraft carriers, or in landed positions in wooded areas like helicopters. It was an actual saucer shaped replica of a recovered Alien craft and as they could not figure out, nor find materials of what the actual crafts were made of they used a thin aluminum alloy.

Their first try was as I said in the Michigan swamplands so they thought no one would see them. Little did they know they made a big stir with many witnesses so they had to escape quickly as guards alerted them to the curious people coming towards them. For the engines, they developed a form of vacuum system just like a sweeper with reverse action. It blew out air, and with about 18 of these vacuums on the bottom, gave enough lift to get to about 25 feet before it came down. It was unmanned.
The second held more powerful ones, and rose over 100 ft, the third had side vents with air to get some guidance with the bottoms keeping them up the sides gave some direction. It was manned, and was able to go about 5 miles an hour in one direction. So that was the beginning of the Harrier, and future lateral lift off programs. Britain bought our first prototype, and then they became  big news as  we used them in Nam a lot.

Testimony No.1

(Don't forget these are accounts of what 'Actually' happened)

     I look forward to sharing these truths. I can tell you a lot about them as I was partially involved in some ways as my stepfather used to have to baby-sit me when I was about ten when he was most involved. I used to watch the wind tunnel tests of the mock disks they tried to get to work. Most could not be stabilized. David used a gyro system he had seen in an aircraft that he used to create a stability system for Moonbeam.

    Well I now live in Valdosta Ga, but was raised in Dayton, and Xenia Ohio just outside of Wright Patterson AFB where my stepfather worked for over 20 years. I am now 50, and got to do a lot. Like when I came back from Vietnam, David was working on specific props which he claimed was for helicopters, but I knew better as they were not the same width. These were only about 1ft - 3ft long, and much more narrow. Not even the size for rear props. He had me photograph them for stress after tests I know which was faster than normal choppers run at. Some were running five times faster, and would destroy the chambers they were in. A few would shoot out, and spin into parking lots, and the air field. Many were worked on at the Colorado Mountain site underground with special grinding equipment. These were metal of a kind I did not recognize in '71-75 till he retired. He had me use super hyper film, and I was very good at it.

    I once saw a schematic that showed a bunch of small props in the bottom, and slides of a larger replica of the Moonbeam. It had to be bigger to house the engines to run each prop separately. There were 12 all together. It had a small area for two men to be in a bubble like dome on top above it all. I never got to see the real thing, but he had to go out to Colorado, and Nevada for tests. He mentioned to me that if all went well he would have me photograph the props after they returned. He was gone three weeks. It must not have worked as I never got to take it's pictures. Or it did, and they kept it out there. David was responsible with Bill McCaullugh for creating the lateral vertical transport, and the mock version of the Harrier which later became American vertical lift off combat jets, and the later vertical lift off transport. So he was  a top engineer for them. I know he made a dozen trips to NASA in both Kennedy, and Johnson space stations. He used to brag about how the same gyro system he used for Operation Moonbeam was used in the Saturn 5 rocket, and he  helped develop it under that technology. There was a time when he had to go to Michigan several times, and then the UFO reports up there went rampant. Same time as tests for Operation Moonbeam.

    I got to talk to one of the other engineers, and he used to brag about the technology being taken from UFOs. That they had figured out not by being able to read the wording, but by people like my step dad tearing them apart, and recreating much of the panels, etc. They could never replica the engines, or whatever they call them. Due to that the Harrier, and others were born. Also Moonbeam.

    Now before he died he asked me to take several props back to Wright Patterson Air Field to the museum in his name that were part of the early technology along with one of the original gyros, and I assure you they were not like the gyros I had ever seen before. He also had pieces of super thin metal that was very hard, yet light that he had. But the most spectacular thing was a photo of Moonbeam with him, McCallough, and several officers with him. He often told me that there were UFOs, and the government told him he was under NSA security, and could not discuss it with anyone, but I guess he figured I wouldn't talk about it till he died. He was right. I have kept it quiet, and do not care that I speak now. He told me that they had large freezers at Hanger 18, but he was not permitted near them. They kept high security all around that area. His access was to the testing, and research development sections there, and at Area B, and the infamous Molehill city under ground where most secret research and testing was done. He once was gone for ten days without telling us after they had secretly brought things in large metal crates to Hanger 18. He had me come out to another area near there to photograph some weird prop like objects for stress, and other factors. These were unlike any props I ever saw before, and I had photographed over two hundred for him. I was an expert photographer having done a lot of aerial, recon and combat photography. I did a lot of intensive close-up work as well, of sites where enemy action was taking place. So he was allowed to use me in these projects. He just did not tell me everything, so if asked I could not get him, or I in trouble knowing Government secrets. Well the last project I did for him was of a set of props running parallel, and opposite of each other running at the same time. I never knew what they were trying to see with the close up pictures as they were running. I always took pictures afterwards to see if they had any cracks, etc. in them. As always they keep the film, or I would really have something to show you. Most were wood like in appearance, but of a metal alloy as I touched them to turn them for shots.

    Now if you cannot believe this just remember the many in Michigan, and also in the Everglades that have seen a lot of strange crafts hovering, then dropping out of sight. For over five years they could not get them to go anywhere but up and down till they got the gyro to work independent to each set giving directions. This was in the late 50s, 60s, and into the early 70s until he and   McCaullugh both retired. George forced to Quit for health problems, and he became emotionally erratic. I wonder why?

Testimony No.2

I remember on trip in the early 70s about 72 when he was taken to the big underground mountain facility, he spoke to me about how they do their security and how fascinating it all was. They would fly them in to a small air base in a remote base, then run them 25-50 miles in a small bus with dark windows and they had to sit behind a cage so they could not go up front to be seen or see anything.

When they arrived they were always strip searched for hidden listening or camera devices, then had to put on long white doctor looking coats over their clothes that had some kind of chemical sprayed on them. He said it was to prevent them from picking up radiation on their clothes. Then had radiation badges placed on their lapels to sense leaks, or their exposure. Once finished they were always taken into a room to be briefed on security measures and had to sign papers promising not to say anything, but who in the military can keep a secret? LOL.

Next they rode through a long deep tunnel in long golf cart like vehicles to a track where they rode into the side of the mountain. They would go into an elevator and go 25 stories down where the laboratory research development center was.

Here David did most of his dissecting of parts, panels and such, and made up the electrical engineering schematics they would try to replicate later. Most they could not replicate as they used different unknown alloys for materials and crystal like tubes and other things they could not figure out. So he was deeply involved in many of these projects. The lateral-vertical transport and Harrier jet projects were developed.

As for Area 51 they tested the jets there as well as the huge wing formed test crafts they would later make into the new stealth wing bombers. Area 51 had been in operation since the 40s, but for many years a small area but huge land mass gated and fenced in. It wasn't till the 60s when the big wing crafts were being tested at night that got the curious to look more into it.


Yes it is real and yes it is a secret (well secret in that no-one except who they want in, can get in)
base. Yes they have their own black choppers that patrol and use black geared troops specially trained in terrorist counter insurgency training to cover them. It is all true! David said when he went there they would land 50 miles away like they did in the Colorado mountain underground facilities and same blackened windows, and would enter not at any gate, but an entryway 5 miles out underground and come up under the base. They have huge facilities underground so they take advantage of the security aspect.

Just like in the Colorado facility they have many levels underground that if they were under attack by nuclear missiles they could survive for ten-twenty years with enough rations for the scientist, engineers and military based there. The reason you do not see the hundreds coming in and out is the underground entirely ways far from the base and that many actually do one-five year tours of duty there with no contact to the outside world. Military cannot be married nor have girlfriends on the outside, so no contact. They don't want the slick to trace them and try to get info out of them. They have bars, lounges, restaurants, hospitals and residence for thousands, if not tens of thousands in case of attack etc. under them and over a dozen other special bases around the US including far west Va to house many. These were built during the start of the cold war in case of nuclear attacks.

Another little known fact was the chemical testing they did out there for long term radiation exposure with the military and pilots, so if a war did occur they could fly into the blasts and drop their bombs. So yes these areas do exist and yes you cannot get in without getting shot. They don't ask questions.


As you can imagine Charles has many accounts of things that really happened. Whether you choose to believe him is your choice. But ask yourself this question - Do you TRUST your Government? And do you believe they would tell its people the whole truth and nothing but the truth? If you believe in your government I think you need to open your eyes. The Human Race deserves to know the truth and with a little help from people like Charles Gaskins and his stepfather, and myself by putting together this site. The truth will be told and eventually you WILL believe.
