For over two millennia, accounts of extraordinary events in the bible have been regarded as the actions of supernatural beings. but what if these beings were not supernatural, but extraterrestrial? Paranormal journalist Marcus Walker examines the astounding evidence in the Bible itself, peeling back thousands of years of translations and interpretations to discover what he believes is the staggering truth - the Bible is the most important record of UFO sightings in history.
Did alien beings play a crucial role in the founding of civilization as we know it? Discover the incredible facts for yourself..........................

In the Beginning

According to the writings of the Old testament, in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. But who exactly was God? Why did he create the Earth? How did he create the Earth? And what price has mankind had to pay for its creation?
After studying the Old testament and several associated scriptures such as the more recent Dead Sea Scrolls, it seems that God was not the omnipotent, all knowing spirit that the biblical characters were led to believe. In fact, when confronted with the following evidence you may well begin to wonder where God originated from, and for what purpose he came to this planet. It may be that he is still visiting us to this day, albeit in many different guises.
We are all aware that the bible has lost a great deal of its true identity through poor translations over the years. The Bible is the most translated book of all time, and mistakes have been made right from the earliest translation up to those being made today. As a result, we tend to come across several stumbling blocks when attempting to decipher the true meaning of some Biblical accounts. Four of the most common mistranslations that occur within the Bible involve the words God, Angel, Lord and Messiah.

God and Angels

The Western word 'God' is actually a translation of the Hebrew 'Elohim', as written in the Old Testament. However, the real translation of the word Elohim may well shed some light on the true nature and meaning of what we perceive has God, his motives and future plans for humanity, and indeed his real identity. The root of the word Elohim as written in the original Bible is literally 'those who came from the sky'.
As you will no doubt appreciate, this throws a completely different light on everything written in the Bible, simply because whenever you read the word god, you must replace it with 'those who came from the sky'. A good example of the profound differences this true translation shows would be 'God created man in his own image'. When the true meaning for the word God is inserted this translates into 'Those who came from the sky created man in his own image'. This classic quote from the bible now becomes a pretty damning statement.
An interesting point can be found in Genesis Chapter 1:26, which states 'And God said, let us make man in our own image, after our likeness'. Even without substituting God for the real translation, this quote still uses the plural 'us' rather than the singular 'I', suggesting that God was not a single entity, as many of us have been brought up and conditioned to believe.
This cannot be explained away as simply implying that 'us' and 'our' meant God and the angels, because the angels were supposed to be greatly differing in appearance to god so it would be impossible to create man in the likeness of both God and the Angels.
'Angels' is another word that springs up on hundreds of occasions throughout the Old Testament. This Word stems from the Greek 'Angelos', meaning 'messenger or agent'. Therefore, whenever we read 'an Angel of God descended', we should now read, 'a messenger from those who came from the sky descended'.
Literally translated, 'Lord' simply means 'the elder or oldest', i.e. God. Through this word we can also trace the true derivation of the word 'Messiah'. Derived from Aramean, Messiah means, 'anointed or chosen by the Lord'. Since the word Lord is often used to refer to God and vice versa, it is easy to see that the word Messiah translates as 'chosen by God or the Lord', and knowing the true meaning of the word God, we can translate Messiah as 'chosen by those who came from the sky'. The Lord was therefore, quite simply the eldest of those who came from the sky.

Other religions

Theologians will simply argue that God did come from the sky, but that is not the point. God not only came from the sky, but from a totally different solar system. He (or they) didn't come to earth to purely to create mankind, but to also monitor our progress and evolution, and to continue the programme of hybridisation which he instigated all those thousands of years ago.
This web page is by no means a personal vendetta against the Old Testament, as it is not the only religious text to have leanings towards alien visitations. In fact, nearly all writings mention alien beings in some shape or form.
The Hindu epic The Mahabharata, possibly the largest of all recorded religious texts, contains several references to the Vimanas. these were huge flying machines which could fly at great heights, and were powered by quicksilver. the Vimanas produced a terrible din and flew on an enormous ray as bright as the sun.
The Mahabharata also contains the story of a woman called Kunti. Kunti not only meets with the Sun God, but also bears him a child. This young boy is said to be as bright as the sun itself. Since Kunti was unmarried, she was afraid of the consequences of bearing such a child, so she places him in a wicker basket and puts it in the river. The child is eventually rescued and reared by another couple. However boring this may seem, it does bear a striking resemblance to the tale of Moses, especially when you consider his shining face as witnessed by the Israelites.
A separate religious text describes how Enoch was whisked up to the Lord in a fiery chariot, never to be seen again. Even though this is not mentioned in the Old Testament, if you look closely at Genesis, Chapter 5, there is a very curious entry for Enoch: 'And Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.'   Could this be a possible reference to god taking Enoch quite literally aboard a spaceship and off into the heavens?
The dead Sea Scrolls contain a hitherto unmentioned passage of text which tells of Eve witnessing of a fiery chariot in the sky. The chariot eventually drives up to Adam and smoke pours out from between the wheels. It would therefore appear from this tale that stories of chariots, angels and sons of God were abundant as early as the time of Adam and Eve.
The Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh is littered with mentions of fiery chariots and people being taken up to the garden of God. The Epic also contains a whole host of parallels to our very own old Testament. For instance, it mentions a great flood, and relates a story very close to that of Moses being cast downstream as a child. the sumerians also had an Eden, known as Dilmun, which is described in the Epic of Enki and Ninhursag, and the creation stories of both texts bear striking resemblance's.
The Philippines is another country rich in mythology, and it is here that we find an unusual description of a Dragon, 'Diminutive and deformed, said to be the size of a three year old child but with an old mans face'.
The strange thing about this description is that it has been used near enough word for word in modern times, most commonly in connection to an abductee describing a Grey, or alien entity as we term them today. The likeness between the two creatures is quite distinct, as the Greys are said to be small, between three and four feet in height. their heads are considered deformed in relation to their spindly bodies, and they are often characterised as looking like wizened old men. Is it possible that the Dragons of the ancient Philippine's were nothing other than extraterrestrial visitors of today?

Myths and UFOs

So are myths really just a few tales passed down from generation to generation, or could there be a semblance of truth in some of them? After all, even a legend has to start somewhere, and somebody either has to make it up or quite literally encounter what they describe later as a fantastic and mysterious creature.
Other examples of myths can be found in many different cultures. the Scandinavians had their Sky Gods, who wielded deadly weapons. The Mayan Popul Vuh tells of the Gods' ability to recognise everything, and of their knowledge that the earth was indeed round, and the Eskimos tell of giants and Gods with brazen wings who come from the clouds.
The Incan religious scripts tell of the stars being inhabited and that their Gods came from the constellation known as the Pleiades. Coincidentally, modern abductees often report the Pleiades as the constellation that their abductors hail from. then there's the American Indian traditions of the Thunderbird, a God who introduced fire to the local natives. Another Native American Indian myth can be traced to the Sun Luis Valley, where the Indians speak of Mount Blanca as being a sacred mountain from whence the 'Star People' emerge 'arriving aboard flying seed pods'.
In the book of Ezekiel in the Old testament, Ezekiel recounts an encounter with four living creatures, each of which had four faces (a human, a lion, an ox and an eagle). Strangely, Ezekiel was not the only one to come across these creatures. Indeed, the Mesopotamians wrote of a winged demon called a 'Pazuzu', which had a deformed head, the wings of an eagle, the sharp claws of a lion and a scorpion's tail. Although this is not exactly the same as Ezekiel's creature, they are very similar. However, there is no way of knowing whether these creatures are demons of fact or figments of our imagination.
Strange visitations are not solely restricted to biblical times, but also occur much earlier in history. Cave drawings have been uncovered which clearly depict the sudden and completely out of context appearance of men adorned in helmets who seem to glow.
Even the great philosopher Aristotle wrote of 'heavenly discs', and once claims to have seen a meteorite fall out of the sky, only to rise up again and fly off.
In the first century BC, the Roman historian Livy recorded phantom ships gleaming in the sky and an alter surrounded by men in white clothes. Even Alexander the great was allegedly assisted by UFOs when his army was laying siege to the city of Tyre. Apparently, a formation of 'five round shields' circled over Tyre, eventually destroying the city's walls with beams of light.

Eve and the Serpent

With all of this evidence set before us, the most logical place to begin is in the Garden of Eden, with Adam and Eve, God's first creations. Genesis Chapter 3 reads:

'So he drove out the man, and he placed at the East of the garden of Eden Cherubim's and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life'.

God apparently cast out Adam because he had allowed himself to be tricked into eating fruit from the tree of life, which was strictly forbidden, after Eve had also been deceived by the serpent. so are we to believe the impossible fact that a serpent which has no palate spoke to Eve? There is an alternative explanation for Adam's banishment. perhaps the fruit he ate came from a tree whose genus contained a chemical which was somehow harmful to his own genetic makeup, and might affect its future development. Otherwise, it is difficult to conceive why an all knowing God should really care which fruit his creation ate. In fact, as long as they survived, one would expect him to be pleased that they chose to eat at all.
Consider this scenario. Eve is wandering through the garden looking for food when she is disturbed by the whispering of distant voices. Eve , who has never seen God, only heard his voice, thinks it is God whispering, instructing her to eat the fruit. Foolishly, she picks the fruit and consumes it. Subsequently, Adam is banished and she is chastised. Why then are we led to believe that all of this was the work of a mere serpent? The voice could instead have come from an extraterrestrial source, and eve only assumed it was a serpent because of the hissing nature of the voice.
It is a widely held belief amongst many Ufologists that mankind actually evolved as the direct result of hybrid experimentation carried out on this planet by beings from another universe. This theory cannot be proven, merely speculated at, but when you consider that the alien insignia which is supposedly worn by beings from the Pleiades system is a serpent climbing a vine, a fact which has been reported by hundreds of abductees, a different light is cast over the real identity of that troublesome and mysterious serpent.

Cherubims

God dispatched cherubim's and a flaming sword to watch over Adam. To this day we do not know what a cherubim is, and our best guess is that the Old Testament is referring to the second order angels of the Lord, next in line to the seraphim's, or 'fiery ones'. Cherubim's are usually depicted with four wings and four faces - human, lion, bull and eagle. Strangely, latter day enthusiasts and artists choose to depict cherubim's as small children.
These cherubim's were equipped wit a flaming sword to prevent Adam from re-entering the garden, and presumably to stop anybody else from entering also. However, if as we are led to believe, god was alone with his creations, then this security seems unnecessary. perhaps god feared acts of sabotage from other beings who were interfering with his creations. maybe the incident with the serpent was one of these attacks to foil his plans.
As for the flaming sword, recent evidence suggests that it could actually have been a craft rather than an inanimate object. A young couple in Somerset reported seeing an inverted cross in the sky in 1990. The cross had an abnormal glow to it, and as they watched, it split into two sections and began performing all manner of unbelievable aerial acrobatics before simply speeding off. The couple reported their experience to a local UFO group, whereupon they were informed that their encounter was by no means unusual, and that the same object had been seen regularly in that area.
Although a flaming sword and a glowing cross may at first appear to be two separate descriptions, simple logic does link the two. In biblical times, swords were not fashioned out of precious metals and were certainly not ornate. Instead, biblical characters used swords which resembled an upside-down cross, not entirely dissimilar to that which was witnessed by the Somerset couple. This fact only serves as further proof that we cannot take for granted every word and descriptive detail within the scriptures of the Old Testament.
Another description of the Flaming Sword can be found during periods of war, and the First World War in particular. general John Charteris, a senior officer in the British Expeditionary Force, often sent home detailed letters from Mons, France whilst serving in the war between 1914 and 1918.
In one of these accounts, he speaks of the 'Angel of Mons', which appeared as an angel of the Lord. The angel was dressed in white, holding a 'Flaming Sword' and was seated on a white horse. This angel faced the German Army at Mons and forbade them to pass.
Could it therefore be true that the creators of life upon our volatile little planet did really come from the sky, and do still return on a regular basis to monitor, experiment and sometimes to help in times of serious danger? If this is the case, then the flaming sword observed with the cherubims could either refer to their craft or a weapon system used by the visitors.

Alien/Hybrid Intervention

The Old Testament is packed with references to visions which tend to depict God, angels and the future. Even though we now live in a time where self-proclaimed mediums and physics are extremely common, you rarely come across psychics with precognitive abilities displayed by many characters in the Old Testament. So should we believe that people described in the Bible who had these visions were indeed truly gifted individuals, or were they pawns in a much larger game of telepathy and thought transference used by alien visitors? these aliens could have used vision to control, and more frighteningly, shape the destiny and future of mankind.
In Genesis, Chapter 15, there is a mention of just one of these visions. It concerns Abram, and his fear of not having any children, in particular the part which concerns us reads as follows:

'And Abram said, behold, to me you hast given no seed and lo one born in my house is my heir. And behold, the word of the lord came unto him saying, this shall not be thine heir, but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
'And he brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them. And said unto him, so shall thy seed be.'

What I believe we have here is one of the earliest recorded instances of alien abduction, admittedly written in an obscure manner. On the face of the evidence within this chapter there cannot be any other rational explanation for Abram's ability to have children after supposedly being taken abroad.
This piece of text suggests that being taken abroad actually refers to Abram being taken onboard an alien craft. Hence, when he was asked to look at the stars and towards the heaven, it was simply to point out to him that he really was in some place entirely alien to him. The word 'heaven' is often used is often used today to describe the sky or skyward, and heaven is supposedly the home of the Lord and his angels.
Abram could therefore have been in a craft heading skyward. The reference to the stars was the aliens attempting to show Abram that he was indeed somewhere different, somewhere other than Earth. Whether Abram actually understood where he was is not clear.
What followed on the craft is not known, but Abram did go on to father children, and therefore we can only suppose that he was one of the first victims of alien experimentation, the purpose of which was to create a hybrid alien/human race on Earth.

The Destruction Of Sodom And Gomorrah

This Chapter deals with the alleged destruction of these twin cities of evil. They are destroyed because the Lord believes that they have become dens of inequity, and that evil dwells therein. The story of their destruction does have some very sinister undercurrents, which may point a finger at the use of possible nuclear weapons thousands of years ago. The original text can be found in Genesis Chapter 19:1,29 and reads:

'And there came two angels to Sodom at even, and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom, and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground'.

This first section tells of the Lord's messengers meeting Lot at the gates of Sodom, a meeting which judging by Lot's reaction to the angel's appearance, is obviously prearranged. The next section reads:

'And the men said unto Lot, hast thou here any besides son in law, and thy sons and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place.
'For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord, and thou hath sent us to destroy it.
'And Lot went out and spake to his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, up get you out of this place, for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law'.

In this chapter we can plainly see that the angels are telling Lot to gather together anyone within the city that he cares about, so that he can take them to a safe place. However, the sons in law obviously feel that Lot is being fooled and laugh at him. The following section states:

'And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, arise, take thy wife and thy two daughters which are here, lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
'And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful unto him, and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
'And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, escape for thy life, look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain, escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
'And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so my Lord.
'Behold now thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life, and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die.'

This section of the chapter deals with Lot's refusal to leave the city because he does not understand why he should leave. He trusts the Lord but cannot comprehend the evil which the Lord is preparing to destroy. It is important to note that Lot is told that he cannot escape to the open plains, but must go to the mountains, which is explained in the next verse:

'The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
'Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven.
'And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
'But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
'And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord.
'And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, ad, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.'

In this final section we are treated to the most graphic biblical description of God's wrath upon an unholy people who he wished to dispose of. What weapon could possible annihilate two cities, the plains and everything that grew there? Surely a nuclear device is the only possible answer. Anyone who has seen images of Hiroshima after the bomb was dropped cannot help but realise the similarities between the biblical account and that of Hiroshima. The smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace, an apt description of the mushroom cloud effect left after the bomb was dropped.
Surely this illustrates that the Lord was extraterrestrial in origin, and therefore had advanced technology at his fingertips. I believe that this extent of force was used not just to wipe out the two cities concerned, but also to eradicate something which may have been much more harmful to future races. It is my opinion that another race was dwelling in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah at the same time as the rest of mankind.
It stands to reason that if one life form could travel to this planet on a regular basis, then why couldn't an entire plethora of beings be buzzing this world? You only have to look at the diversity of the descriptions of Gods and beings, both in religious texts and in modern day reports of contacts with aliens, to be assured that there is more than one type of alien life out there.
One final piece of proof that points to Sodom and Gomorrah being subjected to a nuclear attack comes in the paragraph were Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. This is an accurate account of what happens if you stare directly into a nuclear glare at close range, as you would literally disintegrate and become like dust because of the intensity of the heat and radiation being generated.
Lot and his family were instructed to travel to the city of Zoar in order to escape the blast. It is obvious from the text that Zoar was in a mountainous range some distance from Sodom and Gomorrah. The angels were adamant that Lot should go into the mountains, probably because they knew of the effects of radiation and therefore realised that the mountains would absorb the rays and protect Lot. This all implies that the attack was totally premeditated and meticulously planned, and that the attackers knew of the circumstantial outcome of such an attack, and also how to shield and protect Lot from any harm, which they did.

The First Born are Slain

This is a quite blood-thirsty chapter of the Bible involving the slaughter of all the first born in Egypt. Reading from Exodus 12:29:

'And it came to pass that at midnight the Lord smote all the first born in the land of Egypt. From the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle'.

This God certainly doesn't seem to be benevolent, kind or forgiving at all. So what was the reasoning behind this genocide? Apparently, Moses and the children of Israel were worshipping what the Egyptians considered to be a false God. When the Egyptians finally asked the Israelites to cast out their God, he reacted by smiting all their firstborn.
This Reaction does seem slightly over the top, especially since the Bible tells of many tribes worshipping false Gods without any ill effects. So what if the Egyptians were in fact worshipping a deity who was also alien life form, with the same motives as the Lord? If these other aliens were also experimenting with human hybridisation, then it is more understandable that God wanted to eradicate all of their firstborn. With this first generation of new race wiped out in one foul swoop, God would then be able to continue with his plans for the human race without interruption.

Jacob's Ladder

The story of Jacob's ladder can be found in Genesis chapter 28 and reads:

'And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven, and behold the angels of God ascending and descending upon it.'

Surely Jacob's 'dread' was not a dream at all, but a real experience. In the same way that modern abductees at first think they dreamt their experiences, Jacob obviously did the same. Unfortunately, he was not able to undergo hypnotic regression, and we can today, to realise that the events of his dream did actually happen.
What Jacob really encountered was a spaceship which had hovered near to where he lay, perhaps to carry out repairs, or to take on board samples. Either way, he actually watched the occupants going up and down from the craft, possibly by means of a ladder of sorts. I feel that such a sight would make anybody of that time think that they had seen the kingdom of heaven, as it must have been a sight so spiritually challenging, that they would have had no other way of looking at the facts being placed before them.
When Jacob apparently awoke from his sleep, he instinctively knew that something unnatural had happened to him, and was afraid. These facts are actually written in this chapter. Even then, thousands of years ago, Jacob knew that something not quite right had taken place. This is a scenario that we as modern day Ufologists come across time and time again when researching alien abduction and contact cases. The victims in many modern cases of alien abduction often awake and instinctively know that something unusual had taken place during the course of the night. Nowadays we have the ability and the necessary procedures in place to follow up these hunches, but Jacob was alone with his own intuition.
